Keyser, W.Va., product Taige Redman could be closing in on his first written offer from Toledo and has now been able to visit Virginia, West Virginia and Pittsburgh unofficially. While he probably projects best as an outside linebacker some schools are looking at him as a middle linebacker or strong safety. | |||

At 6-foot, 200 pounds Keyser High School athlete Taige Redman is a bit of a ‘tweener, but he is still getting plenty of looks from programs including Toledo, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Virginia, among others. He has visited three of those schools and took some time out to walk through his thoughts on each one. “I went to West Virginia for their spring game and it was my second time out to Morgantown,” Redman explained. “I talked to Coach (Jeff) Casteel a lot there and he is a great guy who is real with you at all times. We just have a very good relationship and the entire coaching staff keeps it real like him. They show you a lot of love and I really feel at home there. Coach (Bill) Kirelawich said he likes my film and wants to see me at camp this summer.” “Coach (Bob) Pruett is a good guy and has an awesome attitude,” Redman said. “He really takes you under his arm and we actually sat down and watched film together. They have a great campus that I loved, everything there was absolutely beautiful and it’s very compact. When I was the players were great with us and the staff was wonderful.” “I’ve been to Pittsburgh about three or four times and was at their basketball game against Louisville this year. They have a great facility and I really love the coaching staff. They’re really laid back and I like all of them, not just one or two.” Redman reports a 3.0 core GPA and scored an 18 on his ACT. |
