Green Visits Two Schools
Jeremy Green, a 6-foot-0.5, 176-pound wide receiver from Keyser, W.Va., has been hearing from a number of schools, but he has put most of his focus on the home-state West Virginia Mountaineers and the University of Virginia. We talked to him about his visits to both schools in a recent interview. "We took a visit to Virginia and the coaches took us around the campus and facilities to see what they had to offer," Green said. "The locker room was really nice and the campus was beautiful. We watched the spring game and there was great enthusiasm from the players in it. They were pumped. The atmosphere was awesome and the fans were very friendly. Coach (Bob) Pruett gave us some hugs when we were there and really treated us like family." "West Virginia was really exciting and I got to meet a lot of the players who were all cool," Green explained. "I watched their practice and then got to talk to (Head Coach) Bill Stewart who was a really, really nice guy. He's very outgoing for a head coach. The facilities were great, it's close to home and they obviously have a great football team. I like how the coaches push you there." Green currently carries a 3.0 core GPA.
