Merced (Calif.) Ath Bernard Bolden (5-10, 180), saw his offer sheet grow to five with the newest offer, this one from the Big 12 North.

"Nebraska officially offered Bernard" said Merced head coach Rob Scheidt.

The Huskers follow Colorado, Arizona, California and Washington State in offering Bolden. Nebraska also offered his teammate, defensive end Nathan Mayfield.

Bolden can play multiple positions. He lined up at running back, cornerback, receiver, kick/punt returner, and punter last season for the Bears.
