San Francisco (Calif.) Sacred Heart Cathedral running back Dasarte Yarnway, one of the top running backs in the West this year, landed his fifth Pac-10 offer on Monday.
"Oregon came by my school and informed my coach that they have offered me a scholarship," said Yarnway.
The three-star back had just returned from a visit to Eugene two weeks ago.
"Coach (Mike) Bellotti said he really liked me and saw me like LaGarrette Blount, who they just brought in and said I played like him," Yarnway told us last week. "They like me in that running back role in the spread."
Previously, Washington, Washington State, Arizona State and California had all offered Yarnway.
In March, Yarnway earned all-camp honors at the Badger/New Level Pass Camp in Las Vegas. He's planning on going to the Stanford Nike Camp and potentially some more camps in the spring and summer.
During his junior year, Yarnway ran for 1,408 yards and 19 touchdowns on 175 carries.
