Te'o was the 2007 4A State Championship Player of the Game, as his three touchdowns and 106 rushing yards helped lead the Thunderbirds to a 50-7 pounding of Pine View. For his work, Te'o was named a 2007 Honorable Mention All Utah Valley Team pick, as well as an All-State Honorable Mention selection by both the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune.
