Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne quarterback Josh Moten (6-2, 180), received his first offer on Tuesday, and it came from an in-state program.
Moten was offered by San Jose State, according to sources at Narbonne HS, the Spartans becoming the first team to offer the dual-threat quarterback.
In March, Moten was one of three quarterbacks who helped lead "CaliTwo" to the Badger/New Level Passing Tournament title in Las Vegas.
As a junior at Narbonne, Moten threw for 2,127 yards and 21 touchdowns. Rushed for 829 yards and 10 touchdowns and was a second team all-City section pick.
