Moscow, Pa., signal caller Nick Raven will be busy over the next few weeks. He has plans to attend the Elite 11 QB Camp, the Under Armour/Scout.com combine, Purdue’s Elite QB school, the Air 7 QB University and will also stop by two schools in Vanderbilt and Michigan State during that time. He has recently taken two other official visits which we spoke with him about on Sunday. | |||

One thing is for sure, North Pocono High School quarterback Nick Raven cannot ever have his work ethic or dedication questioned as he has spent what seems like every waking hour trying to get to the next level. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback talked to us on Sunday about his most recent visits to Connecticut and Vanderbilt. “My trip to Connecticut was good,” Raven stated. “I got to go down on the field for the spring game which was cool because they run a very similar offense to what we run at North Pocono. I could definitely see myself playing there. I got to meet a lot of the coaches and they were all personable and passionate about their program. I’ll be going back up for a one-day camp in the summer and hope to see the campus and facilities.” “I also visited Vanderbilt which went really well,” Raven explained. “The coaches took me on a tour of the facilities and everything was really nice. They had a lot of great equipment there. The campus is in a rural area, but is also right near the city. My cousin plays baseball for them and loves it down there which helps. They want to see me throw at their camp this summer.” Columbia, Temple, Cornell and Hofstra are the other schools showing Raven the most interest right now. |
