SALEM, Ore. - Over 125 of Oregon's top prospects gathered at Willamette University to take part in the second annual Barton Football Marketing Workout - one of three separate workouts to take place Saturday at McCulloch Stadium. This one showcased players from all over the Beaver State, and a few stood out amongst the crowd.

Josh Riddell, a 6-foot, 205-pound quarterback who prepped at McKay High School in Keizer - a suburb of Salem - ended up at Mississippi State after earning JC All-America honors at Foothill College, but is now back on the market after securing his release from the SEC school. Riddell worked out a little bit on Saturday in front of a variety of lower-level college coaches, and showed a live arm. He's not the biggest athlete out there but appeared to have all the throws in his arsenal.

For the high school quarterbacks in attendance, here were the prospect who stood out from amongst the 55 or so signal-callers that did work out.

When it comes to skill players in Oregon, South Eugene's Boseko Lokombo is making a strong case for being the top prospect in the state. At 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, Lokombo took equal turns on offense and defense - catching and shutting receivers down - and looked great on both sides of the ball. For his size he runs like a deer and is the kind of pure physical specimen that college coaches just drool over. Oregon, Oregon State and Boise State have already offered, and I'd be shocked if he doesn't have offers from at least all the Pac-10 schools when he's ready to make his decision. Rumors of a commitment to the Ducks were shot down by Lokombo Saturday, but he did add that they are currently his No. 1 school of interest.

Lokombo could play receiver, tight end, safety, linebacker or rush end in college - his physique lends itself to that much variety and potential. And the scariest part is that he's just scratching the surface of his potential as a player, having only lived in the States for a year.

Here's the list of the top skill players from Oregon that worked out Saturday in Salem.
