Why Top 40 in Football: "David is 6' 3", 195 and runs a 4.5 forty," added South Panola head coach, Lance Pogue. "He is an exceptional athlete with a great arm. There is no question he is a D1 caliber QB. Baseball is his first love. He just comes from that blood line. But if he were to choose to go the football route, David has all of the talent in the world to go D1. He is a duel threat guy, as he can run and throw.

"I think my poise in the pocket is my biggest strength," added Renfroe. I also bring a lot of leadership to the table. I have a strong arm too and I am very accurate."
