Stockton (Calif.) St. Mary's quarterback Cody Vaz had a big year for the Rams as a junior, running the St. Mary's offense and leading them to the CIF-SJS finals.
Vaz was 215-for-332 for 3,265 yards and 33 touchdowns to 10 interceptions during the 2007 season and was named the TCAL Offensive MVP, First Team all-Area, Second Team All-Northern California and all-state underclass.
