Remember This Name

It’s that time of year when combines are taking place and names new on the recruiting scene start to appear. Here is a name you’ll need to remember for the Class of 2010.

Last weekend a combine was held at The Ohio State University. One of the top performers was a member of the Class of 2010 who is under the radar after missing playing time with an injury this past season.

“Terrence ran a 4.47 forty and a 4.08 shuttle at Ohio State last weekend,” said Jay Hooten of Fast Twitch Performance who trains the Huber Heights Wayne cornerback. “Let’s just say he turned some heads with his times and I feel he’ll continue to do well as he’s worked hard and is 100-percent healthy.”

At 5-foot-10, 170-pounds, Talbott is working hard training for a breakout junior campaign. This summer he’ll look to become one of the top underclassmen taking part in Elite Senior Camps across the Midwest.

Hooten, who was an assistant strength coach at Ohio State for five years, feels Talbott’s future is bright and one of the best athletes he’s worked with. Often he compares Talbott’s physical tools to that of former Buckeye Chris Gamble.

Several programs are taking an early look at Talbott wanting to see more. Camps could launch him to a higher level and any success this fall will only increase interest.
