"I have 12 offers now," said Andrew Carter. "The newest offers have come from Michigan, Purdue, Indiana and Illinois. The Michigan offer was big. Illinois was another huge offer." "I like that the northern schools are showing interest. My dad is from Indiana, and my mom is from Michigan. It's just a great feeling to receive the new offers." Carter has seen several coaches during the spring, and he talked about the busy month. "Spring has been going really good," he said. "We have our jamboree game Thursday against West Gadsden and Rickards. I think we are going to kill them. Our team is really good this year." "I have been improving on run blocking, pulling and quickness. I have been getting my skills well tuned. I am going to work on all the same areas. I want to get everything perfect." "There have been so many coaches visit our school this spring. My coach has put all the schools who have visited up on a board. I think there has been about 50 schools who have visited." The 6-foot-5, 265-pound prospect plans to visit several schools with his college decision announced later in the senior season. "I am going to take a lot of visits during the summer, but probably not attend any camps," Carter said. "I really want to see the schools who have offered. I am going to see South Florida, Central Florida and Miami in June. We are going to sit down and plan everything out after spring." "I have been telling people I am going to make my decision after the third game, but it's probably going to be further down the road. I will probably decide during or right after the season." "I know I am going to go to Michigan and Illinois for an official visit. I will figure out the other official visits later on."
