Merced (Calif.) receiver Kenny Cooper picked up his fifth offer, and like the fourth offer, it came from a Big 12 school.

"(Kenny's) recent offer has come from the Big 12 in Nebraska," said Merced head coach Rob Scheidt.

The offer to Cooper joins offers he had from Big 12 North foe Colorado and Pac-10 schools Washington State, Arizona and Arizona State.

He is the third Merced player that Nebraska has offered, also offering defensive end Nathan Mayfield and cornerback Bernard Bolden.

Cooper earned all-area, all-district and all-conference honors in 2007.
