Before Charlie Weis and his staff hit South Bend it seemed as though Notre Dame frequently had trouble nailing down the best of what the nation had to offer at the linebacker position, however they have recently brought on excellent prospects in Steve Filer, Anthony McDonald, Darius Fleming, Brian Smith, David Posluszny and now Carlo Calabrese.
