Nick Kindler continues to rehabilitate his knee and is close to the point where he can go at full strength, but for now he continues to pick up scholarship offers and get his name out to programs around the country. Last week he picked up offers number four and five which he reported to this week.

Trinity High School offensive tackle Nick Kindler picked up two new offers from Virginia and Buffalo recently and the 6-foot-6, 275-pounder isn’t finished yet as many other schools are inquiring about him. The Camp Hill, Pa., prospect had already been formally offered by Maryland, Illinois and West Virginia.

“Virginia and Buffalo just offered me this week,” Kindler said. “I went down to Virginia a few weeks ago and really liked it, but I don’t know too much about Buffalo right now.”

“My trip to Virginia went really well,” Kindler added. “I spent a lot of time on the campus with Coach Price and got to meet with Head Coach Al Groh for about an hour or so which was great. I also met their offensive line coach briefly. I loved it down there and think Coach Price is a great guy. The campus is really nice and the academics and environment are big selling points.”

As a junior, Kindler was named first-team All-Conference and All-state at offensive tackle, but was second-team All-Sentinel League.

As a sophomore he was named first-team All-Conference at defensive tackle and second-team All-Conference at offensive tackle.

Kindler benches 315 pounds and squats 455 pounds. He also has a 23-inch vertical leap.
