Just like plenty of offers towards the nation's top tackles, Wisconsin has extended plenty of offers…

"I'm planning on going to Louisville, Marshall, Gardner Webb, and possibly Vanderbilt's (camps)," Will Daniel stated. "I know for sure that I'll be at the first three. I think that my throwing will be limited at the camps." Daniel hopes that coaches won't overlook him this summer and will wait to see what he can accomplish once he returns to full speed for the 2008 season. He reports, "I tore my UCL last season, so I won't be able to throw as often as I normally do (this summer). I think that my limited arm won't show them everything that I have. I'm hoping that my season (in the fall) will help me to get offers." Daniel is simply looking for offers at this point and is not pinpointing any particular schools. "I'm interested in anywhere," he says. "Whoever contacts me, I'm interested in them. I don't care where the school is at (located). I'm looking everywhere right now." If Daniel could choose one school to offer him at this point, it is the hometown team. The SEC happens to be his favorite conference. "I'd love an offer from UGA (Georgia)," he commented. "I live in Athens, and it has always been a dream to play for Georgia." He adds, "I love the SEC. It's where the best athletes are. It's the best competition. That sums it up." Daniel has been in contact with several schools, but three have really come after him. "I've been in closest contact with Army, Louisville, and Gardner Webb," he says. "They haven't really talked to me about an offer, but all three have invited me to their camp. If they invite you to their camp, you know that they're interested." Daniel plays on both sides of the ball for Athens Academy, but he claims schools are looking at him as a quarterback. "None of these schools have talked about anything other than quarterback with me," he says. "None of them have mentioned anything about playing in the secondary. I feel like I can definitely play quarterback somewhere at the division one level." Daniel believes his success comes from three main things. "My ability to win games, my arm strength, and my accuracy are my strengths," he comments. "I have a strong arm, but I always throw a catchable ball. Those are the things that I excel in." Last season, Daniel played injured with very limited motion in his arm. In four games, though, he still managed to pass for 400 yards and four touchdowns, rush for 67 yards, and get sacked only once. He helped lead Athens Academy to the semi-finals, and he has very high expectations for the coming season. "I'm hoping that as a team, we play for the state championship," he states. "Individually, I think that it's just gonna be a great year. I have really good receivers and a good running back. I don't really care about numbers. I just want a zero in the loss column. I will say that I'd like to have at least 1,500 yards passing." UCL injury [click here].
