"I was playing QB last year until the next to last regular
season game," stated the rising junior, Vincent Sanders. "They moved
me to WR and I was the go to guy when Pat (Patterson) got hurt. I had over a 1,
000 yards passing and 10 TD's at QB and over 500 yards at WR."

In the 4A State Championship game, Vincent had 6 catches for over a
100 yards. That is when the rest of the state took notice.
"Vincent
really took off in the playoffs," stated Noxubee County assistant, Charles Lee. "I think that really showed him that he belonged out there. He was only
a sophomore, so you have to build that confidence. Vincent can really go up and
get the ball and he is a pure athlete."
Sander's athleticism was displayed
in front of the Ole Miss coaches today, and it looks like they took notice.
"Coach
Kent Austin offered me today. He said I could play a lot at Ole Miss. He liked
the way I caught the ball."
Noxubee County beat Kirby (TN) in the
championship game of the 7 on 7 tournament.
"The camp was just a great
experience for me. I saw a lot of new defenses today. I learned how to adjust
to the different defenses."
And what was Sanders reaction to the Ole
Miss offer?
"I was shocked. I told him that he made my day. There
is nothing like getting your first scholarship offer. It brought a big ole smile
to my face."
The offer looks to have made an impact with the rising
junior.
"Ole Miss is definitely my top school. I just like their coaching
staff and how many good players they have coming back on their team."
The
Rebels have also offered a pair of his teammats in DE Deontae Skinner and WR Pat Patterson.
Any
chances the three land at the same school?
"Yea, we have been talking
about how much fun it would be to all play for the same school, but they are a
year ahead of me, so I will just have to wait and see what they do first. Everyone
has to do what is best for them."
Vincent stated that UAB is showing him the most interest outside of Ole Miss and plans to attend the Alabama and UAB passing camps next.
