The Houston Cougars are looking for linemen and they have just lined a big one. With a big need for immediate help on the offensive line the Houston Cougars went for help in the Junior College ranks and found that help at Navarro Junior College.
For Roy Watts the recruiting journey has been interesting. He has gained offers from some impressive schools.
"Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, University of Houston, Kansas State TSU and Grambling are recruiting me hard and have offered."
However he has made his decision and decided to finally end the process.
"I am going to UH, I committed a couple of months ago. I am pretty much done, I am going to UH."
Though UH was the long time leader Roy had waivered on his commit before finally ending the process. The main reason was the UH coaches and the program itself.
"I prefer to go home, the head coach, he is cool, the OL coach is cool, Jason Phillips is cool, plus one of my teammates is there. It is a good program, it has Big 12 type of competition. I will be signing in December."
This gives UH a big commit to fortify their offensive line next year and will give them more room to maneuver on their available ships this season.
