Early Look: Nick Mizaur
"The Scout.com combine was pretty good," Nick Mizaur said. "I thought it was pretty well-run. There's a lot of testing and evaluations, and they teach you a lot there." Mizaur, who says he's not into camps lasting more than one day, enjoyed both one-day camps at Kansas State and Missouri, saying they were run similarly to the Scout.com combine. "It's a lot of the same," Mizaur said. "They tested you a lot, coached you well and you were put in to do a lot of one-on-ones. I enjoyed both camps." Mizaur doesn't hold any offers at this time, but he is looking hard at several schools. "Iowa has sent me a little bit of stuff," Mizaur said. "I like Northwestern, Illinois, Vanderbilt and Notre Dame as well." Mizaur doesn't have many more plans for the rest of the summer, other than focusing on his upcoming junior season at Creighton Prep. "I might possibly do a one-day camp at Northwestern," he stated. "I'm pretty sure that camp is on July 23. Other than that, I'll just be lifting and running. I think our team is in the preseason top three in the Nebraska Class A. We have a good team coming back and have a good shot at winning state, so I definitely want to be ready for the fall."
