Fresno (Calif.) Clovis West quarterback Jeff Tuel doesn't have a long highlight tape, since he spent his junior season backing up California-signee Beau Sweeney for the Eagles.
But Tuel got some action last fall and now with Sweeney in Berkeley, Tuel is ready to take the reins of the Eagles offense.
And he's kept himself busy this offseason, earning all-combine honors at the Phoenix UnderArmour/Scout.com Combine amongst others.
His transformation this offseason has allowed him to earn his first offer, from Washington State, which came this week.
Tuel has a very good arm and he's a good athlete. What stands out is his footwork and his fluid throwing motion. Tuel is certainly a BCS-level quarterback and leading one of the elite programs in Central California this fall, which includes games against Anaheim Servite and Corona Centennial, he'll have a chance to test himself.
