Florida Safety Names Favorites
"The summer is going very good," said Angelo Hadley. "I just came back from a visit to North Carolina. I went up there Thursday and came back Saturday. I went up there for an unofficial visit with Mywan [Jackson] and [Ryne] Giddens." "The visit to North Carolina went very good. We got to the see the campus. It was a great experience. We spent time with coaches. They let us know how bad they want use there, and told us what we could bring to the table." "They have a very nice campus. They are about to fix up the stadium. They have a great coaching staff as well. All but two coached in the NFL. It's a great school for all sports. They are really trying to build on to the football program." A couple of more visits are scheduled, and Hadley is ready to announce favorites. "The only visit I have taken is to North Carolina," he said. "I am going to Auburn July 31 and to Georgia sometime in August. Both of those schools have offered as well." "My favorites right now are Auburn, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Michigan. The Florida schools I like are USF and Florida." "I will probably make my decision at the end of the season. I am looking for a school that produces good safeties, a good coaching staff and a good major for me. I don't know what I plan to major in yet." Hadley talked more in-depth of the other schools on the list of favorites. Auburn: "All I really know is their coaching staff, coach [Tommy] Tuberville and coach [Greg] Knox. They have a great staff, and they send players to the NFL. I would have to look into their program for defensive backs-wise." Georgia: "I know they produce great safeties in Sean Jones, and then cornerback Champ Bailey. They have some of the best talent coming in. I like what they are able to do." Tennessee: "I don't know much about Tennessee. I want to go up there to visit soon. I may go up there for an official." Michigan: "They have good talent coming out especially back when Desmond Howard and Charles Woodson were there." USF: "They are coming along in the program. They are putting good dbs in the league like Mike Jenkins." Florida: "They always have a great recruiting class. They are going to be stacked next year again. I know defensive back-wise they had Reggie Nelson drafted in the first round." Join the discussions on the national recruiting board [click here].
