Anthony Rogers admits to feeling a little neglected by the University of Arkanasas. The home state…
Will the Hogs Offer?
Anthony Rogers profile "It went well," said the Little Rock native. "I think I did pretty good. They gave me some good feedback. They were all real nice to me. They made me feel like they wanted me up there pretty bad. They said I had a good size and that I was a hard worker." The million dollar question as it pertains to Anthony's recruitment is, did Rogers make enough of an impression to garner an offer from the Razorback staff? "They didn't mention anything about an offer while I was there and I haven't heard anything from them since I got back," explained Rogers. "I expected them to be like my first or second offer, but they didn't offer. I wasn't really expecting one this time. I just went mainly for the learning experience and to get another camp under my belt." Anthony reports that a lot of people close to him were encouraging him to attend the summer camp in Fayetteville and see how things developed with Arkansas. "I am glad to get this camp behind me," said Rogers. "I had a lot of people asking me if I was going or telling me I needed to go up there, so I am glad that part is over. I am not going to anymore camps. I am just getting ready for the season now." Rogers chose the Mississippi State Bulldogs over offers from Baylor, Ole Miss and Tulsa. The talented pass rushing specialist reports that his commitment remains firm. "I am still solid with Mississippi State," said Anthony. "The longer this goes, the more solid I get with them. My mom always tells me to pray on things and let God lead me. That's what I have been trying to do with all of this."
