Hinds' Anton Taylor was tabbed 1st team running back. The Jackson Provine product joins two time All-American kicker Sean Brauchle of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on the first team. Three Mississippi products earned second team offensive honors. Johnny Thomas of Southwest Community College and teammates P.K. Keyes and running back Desmond Washington of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College all earned a second team mention. Two time All-American Pernell McPhee of Itawamba Community College leads a star studded defense. McPhee has elected to play his senior college ball at Mississippi State where he will team up with 1st team All-American linebacker Chris White of MGCCC. "I heard about it yesterday, but I thought it was all just a rumor," said White. "It's a big honor to be selected. I thought I might get an honorable mention, but I never thought I would be named 1st team." Immanuel Dudley of Northeast Mississippi Community College rounds out the Magnolia Staters on the first team. Tim Cox of Holmes and Roteddrick Cotton of Southwest were both named to the 2nd team All-American list. Despite winning a share of the National Championship in 2007, Mississippi Gulf Coast debuts in the 2008 poll at #3. "That's fine with us," said Gulf Coast linebacker Chris White. "It's nice to be ranked high, but we know what happens in the season is what matters most. We have a lot of work to do." Joining Gulf Coast in the top 25 are: #7 Jones County Junior College, #13 Pearl River Community College and #20 Itawamba Community College.
