Playing alongside the top defensive lineman in the West last year, Las Vegas (Nev.) lineman Lawrence Guy, class of 2010 prospect Jordan Turner got a chance to make a name for himself during his sophomore season.
Turner played in seven games as a sophomore and recorded 34 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, a forced interception and a blocked field goal.
This spring, he was one of the standout underclass linemen at the Nike Camp, and also camped at Mississippi State, where he was one of the top performers.
In the weight room, Turner, 6-1, 255, cleans 295, benches 295 and squats 400 at age 15 and runs a 4.9 forty.
He figures to be one of the top defensive linemen in the West in the class of 2010 and he is seen here in action during his 2007 sophomore campaign.
