According to Stephen Tsai of the Honolulu Advertiser, Mililani's Veni Manu has verbally committed to Hawai'i. The 6-foot-4, 227-pound defensive end had been offered by the Warriors earlier in the recruiting process.
Manu, ranked as the No. 7 player in Hawai'i and No. 24 overall in the Northwest region by Scout.com, is the third high school prospect for the class of 2009 to verbally commit to Hawai'i.
Kimo Makaula
from Punahou and
Billy Ray Stutzmann
from St. Louis already made earlier decisions to stay home and play for the Warriors.
