Two Schools Pursuing
Pat Miller
Asst. Regional Manager
Posted Aug 12, 2008

Pat Miller, Scout.com three-star cornerback from Hoover, (Ala.), has two schools in hot pursuit. Miller has a good comfort level with one program and eager to hear from others.

"The same schools are still recruiting me pretty hard," said Pat Miller. "Central Florida and Oklahoma State are recruiting me pretty hard. Coach [Geoff] Collins really wants me to come to UCF. He told me I can be battling for a starting position as a freshman."

"I think UCF is a good opportunity for me to get to the next level. There is so much speed in Florida. I really like the city of Orlando as well."

"Right now I am planning to wait to see who else offers. I would really like to get looked at by Florida State and Florida. I like those two schools a lot. I like the history of both their programs."

The Hoover Bucs failed to reach the Class 6A state finals in 2007 which was the first time since 1999.

"Practice has been going good," Miller said. "We are looking good. The defense is looking really good."
