Little Talks Camps

Amir Little was a bowling ball at fullback for Roman Catholic High School this year which was a big part of why they had one of the deadliest running games in the Philadelphia Catholic League. Right now he has yet to reel in his first offer, however after camping at three schools he is confident that they could come this season.

Philadelphia, Pa., product Amir Little is a 6-foot, 240-pound classic blocking fullback that can handle just about any linebacker you throw at him. This summer he spent time at three camps looking to find a new home for 2010 and impressed enough to where schools will be paying close attention this season.

“I camped at Connecticut, Temple and Delaware State,” Little said. “Right now Delaware State seems the most interested and all of the teams are recruiting me as a fullback.”

“Temple camp went really well and I learned a lot there,” Little explained. “I worked on both offense and defense for them and they really push you hard down there. At the end of the camp we did 1-on-1 drills that let us showcase our individual talent.”

“I talked to Connecticut a bit ago and they said they liked my film a lot and wanted to keep in contact with me throughout the year. When I was there I really liked the atmosphere and after spending four days there I was extremely comfortable.”

Little is primarily a lead blocker for Roman, however he did carry the ball 37 times for 262 yards and a touchdown as a junior.
