Mount Airy standout Michael Dobson was billed as a player to watch in North Carolina back as a junior. With three college offers in hand, Dobson made his college decision earlier today.

Scout.com has learned that Dobson has committed to East Carolina over offers from Akron and Duke.

Michael rushed for over 1,600 yards as a junior and registered thirty-three trips to the end zone.

Dobson took part in 82 personnel stops on defense last year and is poised for an even bigger season this year.
