Wilkins claims offers from among others Ohio State, Kansas, Houston and Baylor. Two other exciting athletes on offense will be Vernon Rogers and Vernon Caldwell. The offensive line will be anchored by Ryan Schultz, Will Taylor, Zach Bolton and McKinley West. The defense is led by linebacker Tronte Robinson and defensive lineman Jairo Garcia. The Klein Forest offense is also bolstered by the impressive leg of kicker Jacob Decker.

Warren (Ohio) Howland will face Klein Forest (Houston, Texas) in the opener of the Kirk Herbstreit Varsity Football Series on Saturday at the Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio. Howland, coached by veteran Dick Angle, is coming off a great 2007 campaign which saw the Tigers run off 11 straight wins before losing a heartbreaker to Mayfield in the second round of the playoffs.
