Sometimes a commitment can slip through the cracks and that was certainly the case for North Huntingdon, Pa., product Alex Dennison. The signal caller pulled the trigger earlier this summer, committing to Buffalo.

Alex Dennison, a 6-foot-3 quarterback from Norwin High School in North Huntingdon, Pa., gave a verbal commitment to Buffalo earlier this summer. Dennison is a three-sport athlete who also competes in volleyball and basketball. In Dennison's first season as a starter, he passed for 1,310 yards, 17 touchdowns and led Norwin to a 7-4 record. In his final game of the season, a 35-28 overtime loss to McKeesport in the playoffs, the 6-foot-3 Dennison completed 13 of 30 passes for 249 yards and two touchdowns including a 64-yard strike to Pitt-signee Michael Shanahan.
