The son of a UCLA and NBA great, I was born in Cherry Hill, N.J., 24 years ago, but made my reputation in the Grand Canyon State: in high school, as the state's all-time leading scorer (3,002 points); and in college, where I led the Arizona Wildcats to a national title as a freshman point guard back in 1997. I declared for the NBA draft after my sophomore year and was selected No. 2 overall by a franchise that had never had a winning season. After three good, but under the national radar, seasons there, I was fortunate to be traded on June 27th, 2001, to a contending team.
I helped my new team to a 61-win season and carried them all the way to the Western Conference Finals in the playoffs. Amongst my seven tattoos, I have the names of my two small children, Janae and Michael Dane. Do you know who I am?
Answer: Sacramento Kings point guard Mike Bibby
