Jones, a safety prospect from Tampa, Fla., who is interested in pursuing engineering, will visit MSU…
Florida DB has three visits in mind
"We had a pretty good start to the season," Jairus Jones said. "Plant dominated us but it was OK, we just have to keep getting better. I was playing safety and linebacker. Orson Charles was good but Aaron Murray was the one who really hurt us. Our D-Line couldn't catch him running and he was throwing some real darts." Jones, 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, is a Division 1 prospect and has already spoken to two college coaches this week. "I talked to coaches at Michigan State and Ohio," he said. "They were just talking. Michigan State's coming at me real hard. I don't know much about them but I was born in Michigan and that's sorta close to where I'm from." In addition to the Spartans, Jones said he'd like to take a couple other official visits later in the year. "I wanna visit LSU, Nebraska, and Michigan State," he said. "I'll probably set something up with Michigan State soon and hopefully LSU and Nebraska keep in touch."
