Top 2010 OL lands offers he wanted
"We started the season with a game again Edler (Ohio)," Brandon Linder said. "It was a lot of fun up there. It felt like a college atmosphere. They were real disciplined but we tore them up in the passing game." After playing center on the state championship team last season, Linder was recently moved to offensive tackle and he's adjusting well. "I felt real good," he said. "There's always room for improvement but I'm getting comfortable and schools are starting to recruit me there." Linder, 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, has enjoyed a successful week off the field. He's made it very clear in recent months that his top three college choices are Miami, Florida, and Notre Dame. With Monday being the first day juniors could receive written offers, Linder landed offers from all three. "I got one from those three and FIU," he said. "I was real happy because those are the offers I wanted. Now I can focus on my high school season" The talented tackle prospect had just ended a conversation with UM offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland when we called. "I was just talking to him," he said. "I call him up just to keep in touch. He was real excited. He has been waiting to offer me ever since my freshman year. He told me just to keep playing hard and we'll be staying in touch." Linder said he'll be unable to make the Florida/Miami game in Gainesville this weekend.
