Bobcats Snag Jeremy Green

Keyser, W.Va., product Jeremy Green was talking to Virginia and West Virginia early in the process, however with a recent offer from a MAC power he decided to give his verbal pledge. We caught up with him on Wednesday night to find out where he'll be signing in February.

Jeremy Green, a 6-foot-0.5, 176-pound athlete from Keyser High School has decided that he will play his college football for the Ohio Bobcats. Green had attention from a handful of other schools, however once he was able to meet the staff at Ohio his decision was made.

"I actually committed to them last Monday," Green said. "I just love how the staff is with me as they're all great people. They also bring a lot of experience to the table which is a plus. The school has a very good communications department and that is my major, so it played a part."

"I also think I'll be able to play early there," Green added. "I'm going to red-shirt my freshman year and then play safety or wide receiver for them. I think I'll fit right in with those guys because I hung out with both groups on my visit and they treated me like family." Recommended Stories
