Duran Christophe, offensive lineman from Woodstock, Ga., is gaining the attention of an in-state…
Georgia OL Names Leader
"I'd say that Alabama is leading," Duran Christophe stated. "I just like their history. I like the school and the facilities. I've been up there twice. It's been nicer every time that I've gone." "I pretty much stood out at their camp. I've talked to them several times. I'll probably catch a game down there in two weeks. They said that they're working on an invitation for an official visit." "I'm planning to go down to Florida State this coming Saturday," he said. "It's an unofficial visit. I'll be there for their home game. Hopefully, I'll get a scholarship offer after the game." "My coach talked to them not too long ago. He told me that they sounded really interested. He said that they were talking about their needs for an offensive lineman." Chirsophe is in no rush to plan for official visits. "I really wanna wait until the end of the season," he said. "I'll get plenty of unofficials before that time. By the end of the season I'll know where I wanna go." Christophe holds seven total offers with one from an SEC school. He would prefer to play in one of two conferences in college. "Growing up in the south I've always been a fan of the SEC," he stated. "I'd like to play in either the ACC or SEC. The history is great in both conferences. They (ACC and SEC) produce a lot of great players." The New Orleans native is still anticipating a call from his home-state school. "I'd love for LSU to come and talk to me," he commented. "I still just have one letter from them. Growing up in New Orleans almost everybody is an LSU fan. That's the state team. I'm still hoping that an offer will come down the road."
