Layton (Utah) Northridge safety Chris Washington, one of the top uncommitted safeties in the West, can no longer be classified in that group.
That's because Washington made his decision on Sunday night.
"Chris committed to Utah tonight," said his father, Tony. "It was pretty exciting for all of us. We were excited to see how psyched the Ute coaching staff was to get Chris."
And they should be. Washington is the #2 safety in Utah and one of the top eight safeties in the West.
He's coming off a spring in which he earned all-camp honors at the Las Vegas Badger/New Level 7-on-7 passing tournament and was named the Defensive MVP of the B2G Elite Football Program.
