Florida WR has offer, names favorite
Victor Marc, a USF commitment, plays quarterback at Hallandale but it's been senior Korvic Neat who's made the most plays on their offense so far this season. In three games this season, Neat has 29 carries for 340 yards and five touchdowns. He also has five catches for 150 yards and one touchdown. "I'm just out there trying to make plays, trying to help my team in any way I can," Neat said. "Whenever you have guys like Victor around you, it helps out a lot. I'm being recruited to play slot receiver." Speaking of recruiting, Neat said a few schools have been staying in touch with him. "FIU calls, USF has called, Iowa State called, Middle Tennessee called," he said. "FIU is the only school that's actually put an offer on the table so far." Neat, 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, said he'd like to get an offer from the school that two of his teammates (Marc and defensive back Ricky Dixon) are committed to -- USF. "USF is my top choice right now," he said. "One of their coaches came to one of our games already this season. They're a great program, on the way up, and I'd definitely go there if they offered me." Whether it's USF or someone else that jumps into the mix soon with an offer, Neat will continue turning heads if he keeps putting up numbers like he has been in south Florida lately.
