Georgia ATH Remains Solid

Rashad Wynes, offensive prospect from Warner Robins, Ga., committed to UAB back in July. He has received a lot of attention from other schools recently, but he remains solid on his commitment.

"My commitment is still strong," Rashad Wynes stated. "Standford and Ole Miss have been sending me a lot of stuff lately, but my commitment hasn't changed at all."

"I'm only gonna take one official visit. I don't plan on going anywhere other than UAB. I'll be taking my official visit there in December."

Wynes reports his progress through four games this season.

"In the first two games I had 12 tackles, and an interception," he said. "I didn't run the ball that much in the first two games. I played mostly defense in the first two games."

"In the third game I had another interception that I returned for a touchdown. In our last game I had 100 yards receiving, and one touchdown."

Wynes is a well-rounded athlete and will likely play on the offensive side of the ball on the next level. His coaches place an emphasis on several positions for Wynes, depending on their opponent.

"This week I'll just be playing offense against Valdosta," he commented. "Some games they'll play me mostly on defense. Other games they'll want me to focus on playing receiver. Then the next game I'll run the ball a lot. My coaches put me in the best situation for each game to help us win."

Warner Robins (2-2) will play Friday at Valdosta (3-1).
