GA OL Names Leader
"I just got off the phone with UAB," Duran Christophe stated. "They just offered me. I don't know much about them. They'll be calling me on Wednesday to explain things about their school." "Right now, with the schools that have offered, I like Indiana, East Carolina, and UCF. I'll say that ECU is leading between those schools. They're doing great this year." "I like two schools that haven't offered yet. Alabama still leads, but an offer from Georgia could change things. If Georgia offered me, they'd definitely be one of the top schools that I'd be looking at." A few weeks ago Christophe reported what he liked about the Alabama program. He tells us more of his likes for Georgia. "I really like Mark Richt," he said. "When I went to the camp all of the coaches were saying great things about him. They told me that he's a family man." "They are one of the top teams in the nation. I like the history, and the prestige of the program." Christophe has recently been in close contact with Georgia. He will go to Athens this weekend for the big game against Alabama. "I've been talking to coach Searels (offensive line coach) at Georgia, a lot," he commented. "We've been talking about games and things like that. I've been telling them about my season. He's been telling me about their season." "I just got off of the phone with coach Searels. I asked him about my attire for the game. He just told me not to wear any Alabama stuff. This will be my first college game." A week from today Christophe will face Derrick Lott, of North Cobb. He is excited about going against one of the top defensive lineman in the state of Georgia. "I'm looking forward to doing well in that game," he said. "I'm just looking to win the game. This is the first opponent that I've gone against that is rated as high as him." "Georgia will be at that game. I'm just looking to do well, and earn a scholarship."
