Williams Focusing On Three

Anthony Williams has a rare combination of size and speed; it has not gone unnoticed. Williams holds several major BCS offers and could be on the verge of receiving two more. Go inside to read more.

"We're 4-0," stated Anthony Williams. "We're ranked #2 in our county. We're really outscoring our opponents right now. I had a 65 yard punt return for a TD last week. I also had 4 catches for 80 yards. One of those catches was a 40 yard TD."

That big game gave Williams 10 catches for 200 yards and two touchdowns for the year. It's this type of performance that earned Williams the nickname T.O.

"My friends call me T.O. I try and play fast and physical. I think my height (6'3) also helps."

College coaches are also paying attention to Williams and his offers are proof of that.

"I have offers from Georgia, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Rutgers, Indiana, Ball State, Troy and Marshall. Kansas and Florida called me last week. They have not offered but they are both reviewing film and they really like my game."

Do any schools standout right now for the talented WR?

"Ole Miss, Georgia and Arkansas stand out, but I'm not ruling out anyone."

What does Williams like about these schools?

"I like the Ole Miss Coaches. Coach Vaughn called me Thursday and told me to watch the game. He said they had something for Florida. I couldn't believe the way they played. Coach Vaughn is a cool dude. He keeps it real. He doesn't beat around the bush. Georgia is a good school academically and they also have a commitment from my friend Aaron Murray. We played together when we were younger. I grew up watching Arkansas. My dad was a fan so I'm used to pulling for them."

Williams does not have any official visits planned. He's currently waiting on test scores so that he can begin to work on setting up visits in more detail.
