Update With Tim Breaker

Tim Breaker transferred from A.P. Schalick High School to Glassboro High School after his sophomore season and has been making the most of his opportunity since doing so. As a junior, Breaker made 56 tackles and intercepted five passes. He had a total of nine touchdowns on offense as well, catching the eyes of some recruiters.

Tim Breaker plays both quarterback and safety for Glassboro High School in Glassboro, N.J., however the 6-foot, 180-pound athlete will definitely be spending his time in the defensive secondary at the collegiate level. Right now he has written offers from Buffalo and Hofstra, however it sounds like more could be coming.

“We are 3-0 and trying to repeat as Group I Champions right now,” Breaker said. “We rotate three explosive running backs on offense that are vertical threats and have one of the best wide receivers in New Jersey in Ricky Tunstall. We’ve been averaging 49 points per game and I’ve been playing both quarterback and safety so far.”

“Recruiting is going well too,” Breaker explained. “Purdue, Duke, Illinois State, Maryland, Virginia and Buffalo talk to me once a week. Those are the schools that are showing me the most interest at this point of the season. My coach has sent out highlight tape of our first couple games and we have a bye week coming up, so I’ll be attending the next home game at Maryland. I have an official visit set up for Buffalo in late November as well and will wait until the season is over to take the rest of my officials.”

Breaker has 15 tackles, one interception and a punt return for a touchdown on defense so far this season. He also has 307 yards passing, two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns.
