Shepherd Earning Interest
Eaton High School may not see a lot of college coaches on a yearly basis but they'll be stopping in this small Ohio town until Clint Shepherd makes his college choice known. The Class of 2010 offensive lineman is getting a lot of attention according to his mother. "It's been very interesting," said Terri Shepherd about the college interest her son has received. "Clint has worked hard on and off the field and always prepared himself to receive an academic scholarship. Now it looks as if he'll earn a football scholarship and fulfill a dream he's had of playing college football." At this time the following programs have expressed interest in the 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive lineman. Michigan, Michigan State, Boise State, Cincinnati, Duke, Stanford, East Carolina, Harvard, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Louisville, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Syracuse and Maryland. Clint has already visited Michigan for a game and is looking to visit Illinois and Cincinnati as well as a few other programs if time allows this season according to his mother. "So many schools have asked Clint to visit for a game I'm not sure he'll have time to see them all. So we'll have to take some visits this spring to learn more about the schools he's got interest in." One thing is for sure, Clint Shepherd will have no shortage of college programs looking to earn his signature in the very near future.
