Memphis DE Is Up To Three Offers

Summer camps are a great way to get the attention of college coaches. For Ceasere Johnson, attending two camps equated to earning two scholarships. With each passing game, Johnson is hearing more and more from college coaches. Go inside to read more.

"Right now I'm 6'7 215lbs," stated Ceasere Johnson. "I have 9 sacks, 30 tackles, 1 INT, 4 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. Our team is 5-2 and we're playing well."

This type of production has led to Johnson's recruitment heating up.

"Recruiting is going well. I have offers from Arkansas, Southern Miss and Ole Miss. I would say that Ole Miss is recruiting me the hardest."

How does the Memphis product feel about each of those schools?

"I went to a 7 on 7 camp at Ole Miss. I had 3 interceptions. We made it to the championship game but lost to Noxubee County. Coach Nix has been by my school and to some of my games. He also calls me every week."

"I went to a skills camp at Southern Miss. They started calling me after that and have come to see me play several times."

"Arkansas just started coming to my school. After that they started calling me. They didn't waste any time offering me. They have also been to see me play."

Are any other schools close to offering the Kirby High standout?

"Memphis and Middle Tennessee State are close to offering. I have several other schools sending me a lot of mail but I can't remember them all."

Has Johnson set up any visits?

"I have not set up any visits yet. I know that I will visit Arkansas, Southern Miss and Ole Miss."

What is Johnson looking for in a school?

"I want to major in business. I'm looking for good academics. I'll pay attention to class sizes and professors. I also want to go to a school with a good coaching staff. I'll look at facilities and the lifting program at each school too."
