Brandon Moore Names Officials
"I haven't set anything up yet, but I know which colleges I am going to visit," said Brandon Moore. "I plan on going to Florida, Miami, Clemson, Tennessee and probably Ole Miss. I am not going to take visits to Alabama or Auburn because I have been to those schools so many times." "I haven't been anywhere recently, but I am going to a game this weekend. I plan on traveling down to Alabama for the Ole Miss game. It should be a good game, and I am looking forward to it." Clemson remains on the list with an interim head coach finishing the season. Coach Dabo Swinney has recruited well for the Tigers. "Even though coach Bowden isn't there anymore I still plan on taking a visit up there," Moore said. "I was a little shaken up about it at first. Then they had two All-Americans de-commit. I didn't know what to think. Obviously, it's all about business up there." "Coach [Dabo] Swinney has been recruiting me. I haven't talked to him yet since he was named head coach. I still like Clemson though. It's not far from home. They have been good in the ACC." Moore talked about the other programs on the visit list along with the two in-state SEC schools. Florida: "I was going to take my official visit down to Florida this past weekend, but coach [Urban] Meyer asked me to wait until after the season. He said he would then be able to spend more time with me." "I saw their highlights on television. I am feeling them. They are not that far for real. They have a good recruiting class every year, good coaching staff and in contention for the national championship." Miami: "They have tradition. They are down this year, but they are always getting good recruits. I like the atmosphere down there at Coral Gables. Coach [Randy] Shannon treats me pretty good." Tennessee: "They stay in contact with me every week. I talked to coach [John] Chavis yesterday. Their record doesn't indicate their talent. They contended with Georgia, Auburn and Florida. They are not looking bad." Auburn: "I am going to go to their game against Georgia. You can't base recruiting on one season. I like them because they are only 45 minutes away. They are always getting top players. They seem to beat Alabama every year. They have a very good defense. Their offense is a little shaky though." Alabama: "They are right there at the top, but nobody right now is in the lead. I really like their ranking, record and everyone they have coming back. The fact they are on top, and rich tradition really sticks out to me." Ole Miss: "Coach [Houston] Nutt said he has one of the top offensive tackles in the country this year, and a real good nose guard. They are live up front. They have a good defensive front. They have a few losses, but not really bad. They are in the rebuilding stage." The elite Alabama lineman does not expect to make a decision until after taking all five official visits. Moore knows what he is seeking in his future college destination. "The main thing I am looking for is the success of the program, who all is coming back and the chance of early playing time," Moore explained. "I am going to see if the school has a chance to win a national championship while I am there. I want to have a good relationship with the coaching staff as well."
