Brandon Moore, four-star offensive tackle from Montgomery-Carver, (Ala.), secured a big region win Friday night. Moore took an unofficial visit to Alabama for the SEC match-up against Ole Miss.

"We did good Friday night," said Brandon Moore. "We beat Selma 65-6. We are now region champs. We have the No. 1 seed in the play-offs. It was a tough environment, but we went out there and took it to them. I played offensive tackle the whole night."

"I went down to the Alabama-Ole Miss game. I went down with a few players and coaches. It was a good game. Alabama got the victory. I had a real good time."

"I talked to coach [Kirby] Smart and the offensive [Joe Pendry] and defensive line coach [Bo Davis]. I didn't get a chance to speak to coach Saban. They told me Alabama is the place to be, and it's my home. They said they were No. 2 in the country and talked about all the freshmen playing."

"Alabama is good. They are No. 2 in the country. They have a good environment and a great team. They are playing a lot of freshmen. They always have a great defensive line."

Carver will play Monroe County Thursday night at the Crampton Bowl in Montgomery. Moore will take the ACT Saturday morning following Friday night's contest.

Moore informed shortly after the conversation of the Arkansas Razorbacks extending a written offer.
