Tylertown has made their living this season on the edges with some very talented skill players. Speed is the name of the Chiefs game and there is not shortage of players who are fleet of foot on the roster. This past Friday, Tylertown traveled over to Liberty, Mississippi to tangle with Amite County and Gabriel Jackson.

Gabriel Jackson
Amite County HS (MS)
OT / #63

Scout's Take:
Gabriel Jackson will hurt you. Jackson has the mean streak needed to play offensive line on the college level. He is very physical and he plays until the echo of the whistle. He understands the importance of getting to the next level when the ball carrier breaks containment. He is a better than average pass blocker and he is a dominant run blocker.

Brandon Thompson

WR|DB / #32
C/O 2009

Scout's Take:
Thompson is a playmaker. He has very good hands and if Tylertown had a big play on Friday, Brandon had a hand in it. A pair of touchdown catches, two interceptions and a fumble recovery on special teams made for a very busy night.
Anthony Carr
Tylertown HS (MS)
LB / #54
C/O 2009
Scout's Take:
Carr is extremely physical. He is always near the ball and he follows the flow well before sticking his head in there to make the tackle. I am not so sure I would not take him as a full back. He plays both ways and he may be the best lead blocker I have seen all season.
Terrance Jenkins
Tylertown HS (MS)
DE|LB / #33
C/O 2009
Scout's Take:
Jenkins could play a rush end in a 3-4 scheme, but he is a little undersized to be a true defensive end at the college level. His future will likely be as an outside linebacker. He has a good burst up the field and his first step might be his best one. His game is quickness and he plays with a lot of heart.
Cornelius Lee
Tylertown HS (MS)
LB / #8
C/O 2009
Scout's Take:
Lee is a nice looking prospect. He lines up at middle linebacker and he gets down the line well as the play develops. He has good instincts and he has very good closing speed once he gets a bead on the ball carrier.
