Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College kicker Sean Brauchle is showcased in this ScoutTV 2008…
Brauchle Schedules First Official
"We play Northwest in the playoffs this weekend," said kicker Sean Brauchle. "We played them the first game of the season and we beat them 38-14. They are playing better now, but we feel like we are too." MGCCC earned the right to play for their second straight South Division championship after throttling JCJC a week ago. Brauchle believes his team is playing it's best football right now. "If you take away two fumbles at the goal line, we would be #1 in the nation and undefeated," said Sean. "That's the way things are though. It is always a couple of plays. We have really started clicking towards the end of the year and that's really when you want to be clicking." The two time All-American place kicker has drawn interest from several schools. A few weeks ago he picked up his first offer from the SEC, but another one may materialize. "(Mississippi) State calls weekly," said Sean. "I am going up there on an official visit for the Arkansas game. Chris White and I are going up there together. "Coach talked to Alabama and they requested some film and they wanted that overnighted to them. They have told me that if they sign a kicker it's going to be me, but I think it all depends on what happens with their kicker." The chance to go out and win one in one of the nation's largest stadiums is something Sean has always dreamed of. "My main priority was to get my school paid for and I know that is going to happen now," said Sean. "I am open to everything if the opportunity is right. I really want to play in the SEC. I would look at some other schools, but that's really what I want to do." Brauchle will be able to enroll in time for the spring semester, so a decision will come over the course of the next few weeks.
