Encino (Calif.) Crespi running back Jeremiah McKibbins, who's taken over the role as the Celts leading rusher, picked up his first offer on Tuesday night.
"Army offered Jeremiah as a running back," said his father, Phillip.
While Army is the first to come forward with an offer, a handful of other schools have been in contact.
"UNLV called and he is on their list," said his father. "He's also heard from Air Force, Navy and Washington, but that was before Tyrone Willingham's situation."
In addition, a handful of Ivy League schools have been in contact with the academic stalward.
"Princeton and Harvard have been in touch and Brown called this week," said his father.
Tomorrow night, Crespi and McKibbins take on Notre Dame HS of Sherman Oaks in a huge Serra League opener.
