Corona (Calif.) Centennial defensive tackle Will Sutton (6-1, 250), the top defensive tackle in California, is now up to eight offers, with his second Pac-10 offer now in hand.
"Will received an offer the University of Arizona last night" said his father, Mickey.
The Wildcats became the second Pac-10 school to offer Sutton, joining rival Arizona State. And like the Sun Devils, who signed three Centennial players last February, the Wildcats also boast a former Husky, backup quarterback Matt Scott.
The offer from Arizona joins the Arizona State offer and offers from Nebraska, San Diego State, UNLV, Nevada, Colorado State and Fresno State.
Oregon State and UCLA are also keeping a close watch on Sutton, who will visit Nebraska this coming weekend.
On the year, Sutton is averaging eight tackles a game, has two sacks and blocked a punt.
Academically, Sutton has a 2.8 to go and he’ll retake the SAT this fall.
