Early Look: '10 QB Matt Sandlin

Matt Sandlin, 2010 quarterback from Tuscaloos-American Christian Academy, (Ala.), is having a monster season.

Matt Sandlin, 6-4.5, is receiving interest from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Notre Dame, Maryland, Tennessee, UCLA, Florida State and Northwestern.

His junior campaign, through 11 games, has produced 207 passing attempts with 137 completed for 2,548 yards, 22 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Sandlin has also rushed for 79 yards on 26 attempts and five touchdowns.

American Christian moves to round two in the AHSAA play-offs after a win last week 44-14 over Keith. Reeltown, the No. 1 seed, awaits American Christian (No. 2 seed) after their victory against Fultondale 28-0.
